This paper analyzes the article "Hermeneutics and Artificial Intelligence: Toward a Paradigmatic Alternative to the Legal-Technological Imagination," by Lênio Streck and Luã Jung. The text critically discusses the adoption of AI systems in the judiciary, highlighting the risks of a technocratic approach that simplifies the law and undermines the interpretive role of judges. The central critique is the dehumanization of the judicial process, proposing philosophical hermeneutics as an alternative that values the interpretive complexity of the law. The review aims to assess the limits of AI in judicial processes and to defend the preservation of the active role of judges. The methodology is based on qualitative research and critical content analysis, contextualizing the issue through bibliographic references. In conclusion, the review calls for reflection on the impact of AI in the judiciary and warns against the risks of compromising justice through excessive automation.
